How to Use FIX-A-LEAK

IMPORTANT: Shake well before use

Step 1: Bypass Your Filter

  • Sand filters: Set valve to "Recirculate" position
  • Cartridge filters: Remove cartridge from tank
  • DE filters: Remove DE grids/elements from tank

Step 2: Add FIX-A-LEAK

  • With pump running, slowly pour FIX-A-LEAK through skimmer
  • Alternatively, pour directly in front of any suction intake
  • Allow product to circulate through system

Step 3: Direct Flow to Leak Area

  • Adjust suction to main drain (if leak is in plumbing)
  • OR place vacuum at deepest part of pool and connect to vacuum line
  • Set filter valve to normal vacuum position
  • Run pump for 6-8 hours to allow sealant to find and seal leaks

Step 4: Return to Normal Operation

  • Return filter to normal operation
  • Reinstall cartridges or DE elements
  • Monitor water level over next 24-48 hours
  • If leak persists, repeat treatment or contact us for advice
