How to Use FIX-A-LEAK
IMPORTANT: Shake well before use
Step 1: Bypass Your Filter
- Sand filters: Set valve to "Recirculate" position
- Cartridge filters: Remove cartridge from tank
- DE filters: Remove DE grids/elements from tank
Step 2: Add FIX-A-LEAK
- With pump running, slowly pour FIX-A-LEAK through skimmer
- Alternatively, pour directly in front of any suction intake
- Allow product to circulate through system
Step 3: Direct Flow to Leak Area
- Adjust suction to main drain (if leak is in plumbing)
- OR place vacuum at deepest part of pool and connect to vacuum line
- Set filter valve to normal vacuum position
- Run pump for 6-8 hours to allow sealant to find and seal leaks
Step 4: Return to Normal Operation
- Return filter to normal operation
- Reinstall cartridges or DE elements
- Monitor water level over next 24-48 hours
- If leak persists, repeat treatment or contact us for advice
