Up to 1,500L: choose this 500g pack. Over 1,500L and up to 3,000L: choose Simple Silver 1kg. Both sizes have the same 12-month treatment period; the larger pack treats more water, not more years.
Before switching: confirm the filled water volume and filtration setup, not just the spa's seat count. Low-flow circulation systems may not meet the manufacturer's requirements. For inflatable spas, unusual circulation arrangements or volumes above 3,000L, confirm suitability before ordering. Domestic use only, not commercial applications.
Getting started and ongoing care

- Prepare the spa. Start with a clean spa and filters. Previously used bromine? Drain and refill before switching; bromine is incompatible. A spa left empty or with dirty plumbing needs the manufacturer's cleaning procedure first.
- Install and set circulation. Keep the treatment fully immersed. The manufacturer specifies 100,000 litres of filtered circulation per day, not 100 times your spa's volume. Use its controller settings guide for your equipment.
- Allow the startup period. First-time users must leave the spa unused for 7 days, then clean and dry the filters as instructed. Repeat users renewing treatment after a drain and refill must allow 5 days.
Filter care is essential: the manufacturer calls for solution-cleaning at least fortnightly, with more frequent attention after heavy use. Clean the filter housing too, rinse away cleaning residue and follow the filter and cleaner instructions. A spare cartridge makes rotation easier.
At renewal: replace the treatment after 12 months of use. When using a pre-drain pipe cleaner, complete that treatment before draining; then rinse, refill and follow the repeat-user instructions.

What is included?

Will the tablet disappear when it needs replacing?
No. The manufacturer says the substrate remains and can look much the same at the end of its service life. Record the installation date rather than waiting for it to dissolve.
Can I use chlorine, bromine or another mineral product?
The manufacturer confirms chlorine compatibility but not bromine compatibility. Do not combine water-care products without checking their instructions. Follow your spa manufacturer's sanitiser and water-testing requirements; this page does not override them. Clear water alone does not establish bathing safety.
What should I do if the water becomes cloudy or develops an odour?
Stop using the spa while the cause is investigated. Check the filter condition and circulation settings and seek product-specific advice. Do not assume that adding more treatment or waiting longer will make the water suitable for bathing.
