Directions for Use
Cartridge Filters:
- Remove the filter cartridge and spray with a hose to clear loose debris
- Mix 500ml of filter cleaner with 10L of water (1:20 ratio) in a suitable container
- Submerge the cartridge and soak for a minimum of 30 minutes
- Remove and rinse thoroughly with a hose on the highest pressure setting until the water runs clear
- Allow the cartridge to dry completely before reinstalling
Sand and Media Filters:
- Backwash the filter and close the inlet valves
- With the filter off, remove the Multiport Valve and add 500ml of filter cleaner per 35,000L of pool water
- Reinstall the Multiport Valve and leave the solution to soak overnight - do not run the filter during this time
- The following day, backwash until the sight glass runs clear (typically 5-15 minutes)
Tip: Always allow cartridge filters to dry completely before reinstalling. Drying helps the filter media return to its correct shape and ensures optimal flow and filtration performance.
