Is this right for you?
The T3 suits pools up to approximately 10 metres in length where a simple, low-maintenance suction cleaner is preferred. It works best with a dedicated suction port but can also run from the skimmer box. If your pool is larger or has complex geometry, consider the Zodiac MX6 which offers more aggressive scrubbing and better wall climbing on larger pools.
How to set up the Zodiac T3
- Connect the hose sections end to end using the twist and lock mechanism until you have sufficient length to reach the furthest point of your pool.
- Attach the flow valve to the hose and connect it to your skimmer box or dedicated suction port.
- Submerge the cleaner and hose fully, allowing them to fill with water.
- Start your pool pump and observe the cleaner for the first few minutes to confirm it is moving freely.
- Adjust the flow valve if the cleaner is moving too fast or too slowly across the pool surface.
Maintenance
Rinse the cleaner and hoses with fresh water after each use and store out of direct sunlight. Inspect hose sections at the start of each season for cracks or loose connections. Clean the cleaner's internal filter regularly to maintain suction. Replace worn hose sections individually using genuine Zodiac Twist and Lock hoses.

Does the T3 work with my existing pool pump?
Yes. The T3 runs off your existing filtration system and does not require a separate pump or power supply. It is compatible with most standard pool pumps. If your pump flow rate is very low, contact us and we can advise on suitability.
Can the T3 climb pool walls?
The T3 is primarily a floor cleaner but will travel up walls depending on pool shape and flow rate. For pools with steep or tiled walls, the Zodiac MX6 offers more consistent wall climbing performance.
How long does the hose need to be?
The hose should reach from your skimmer box or suction port to the furthest point of your pool with a small amount of slack. The T3 includes 10 x 1m sections. Additional hose sections are available separately if needed.
What surfaces is the T3 compatible with?
The T3 is compatible with all pool surface types including fibreglass, concrete, vinyl liner, and tiled pools.
How do I know if the cleaner is getting enough suction?
