How much does your pool need?
Lo-Chlor specifies 5 litres per 50,000 litres of pool water, equivalent to 1 litre per 10,000 litres. Measure your pool's filled water volume before dosing.
- 10,000L pool: 1L of treatment.
- 30,000L pool: 3L of treatment.
- 50,000L pool: one 5L bottle.
These quantities are calculated from the manufacturer's guide. Follow the directions on your bottle for application, water preparation, repeat treatments and swimming after use. Do not increase the dose to try to get a faster result.
Compatibility and what to expect
Lo-Chlor lists compatibility with all pool finishes and recognised pool sanitisers and additives when used as directed. Temporary foaming or an odour can occur, including in salt-chlorinated pools. Check the label before combining treatments.
Keep up regular water testing, sanitising and filtration. A duck deterrent does not replace your sanitiser or remove the need to clean up after birds.

Safe handling and product information
The concentrated product is corrosive. The manufacturer's January 2023 safety data sheet warns of severe skin burns and eye damage. Read the bottle label and Lo-Chlor safety data sheet before use. Wear the specified protective equipment, keep out of children's reach and prevent spills entering drains or waterways. Do not mix pool chemicals together.
