- Filter. Normal operation, water passes through media and returns to pool.
- Backwash. Reverses flow to flush debris out of media to waste.
- Rinse. Run for 10 seconds after backwash to settle media before returning to filter mode.
- Waste. Bypasses filter, sends water directly to waste (useful for vacuuming heavy debris).
- Recirculate. Circulates water without filtering (useful when adding chemicals).
- Closed. Shuts off flow completely.
